I think David calls himself "Daddle", and you can hear "Grandpa" resonating in "Bamba".
"Daddle" is how David Nicholas now says his own name, and "Bamba" is how he says "Grandpa" - which is rather nice because it's very similar to the name David Charles used to use for his own Grandfather ("Pampa").
